Fire destroys home in Taguig

A fire hit a two-storey home in Barangay Tuktukan, Taguig on Jan. 13. 

A report from the Taguig City Fire Station stated that the fire started at No. 23 Bagong Silang in Purok 6 in the barangay at about 4:05 p.m. 

The fire reached the first alarm at 4:10 p.m. before it was put out at 5 p.m. Based on the report, the fire started from a room on the second floor of the house. 

The blaze caused P300,000 in damages and affected eight families or 30 individuals. 

A total of 30 fire trucks and five ambulances responded to the incident.
