The Caloocan City Manpower Training Center (CCMTC) will offer free vocational and skills training to senior citizens in the city.
The program aims to give opportunity to elders and help them work to support their families.

CCMTC offers free dressmaking, basic computer operations, culinary, massage treatment, housekeeping and basic welding programs.
“Basta kailangan lang po ay kaya ng inyong katawan ang inyong kursong papasukan at determinado kayo na matapos ang mga kurso na tumatagal ng tatlo hanggang apat na buwan (As long as it is necessary that your body can handle the course you are going to attend and you are determined to finish the courses that last three to four months),” Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan said in a social media post on Monday, Jan. 13.
“Alam ko na marami pa sa ating mga lolo at lola ang nais magtrabaho at nais na may pagkaabalahan kaya nagbubukas po tayo ng pantay na oportunidad para sa lahat (I know that many of our grandparents want to work and want to be busy so we open up equal opportunities for everyone) he added.
The enrollment for the training is available from Monday to Friday.
Applicants must bring the following:
-Senior Citizen ID - Marriage Certificate (for female only)
- Barangay Clearance
- Voter's ID
- Cedula
- 1x1 Picture (2 pcs)
- Brown envelope (long)
