3 Zamboanga City police units rewarded P100,000 each

ZAMBOANGA CITY â€“ The City Intelligence Unit, where hero cop Police Senior Master Sgt. Ryan Mariano is assigned, and two other police units were awarded P100,000 each for neutralizing and arresting shooting suspects here.

Mayor John Dalipe handed over the reward money to their three commanders at the Zamboanga City Police Office Conference Room on Monday, Jan. 13.

First to receive the reward was Police Station 9 commander Police Major Joemar Calud, ICU chief and superior of Mariano who neutralized two lawless elements just before the New Year.

The two other commanders were Police Major Xyronne Caronan of the Zamboanga City Police Station 6 and City Intelligence Unit commander Police Lt. Col. Hartzel Peter Billedo for arresting shooting suspects.

Dalipe thanked and congratulated Zamboanga City police chief Police Col. Kimberly Molitas for a job well done.
