Retired employee robbed of P3.3-M valuables

TIAONG, Quezon – A 69-year-old retired employee was robbed of P3.3 million in valuables by a cat burglar in Barangay Bulakin here on Sunday, Jan. 12.

Police identified the victim as Ramon.

Investigation said the victim discovered the theft when he found two bags containing the items outside his house.

He inspected the bags and found that gold jewelry, Rolex watches, Movado wrist watches, Shinola wrist watches, and a Coach wrist watch, inside are missing.

The victim informed security who reported the incident to the police.

Police said the suspect entered the victim’s house through a small window at the back.

Follow-up investigation is underway.
