Kevin Quiambao made a quick impact in his first Korean Basketball League (KBL) game but his anticipated debut was cut short with an apparent injury in Goyong Sono Skygunners' 84-57 defeat to the Seoul SK Knights on Sunday, Jan. 12.

The 23-year-old Quiambao scored six points plus a rebound in just seven minutes of action, failing to return to the contest after landing on his opponent's foot at the 7:42 mark of the second quarter and was seen grimacing in pain in what looked like a sprain.

The Skygunners dropped to a 9-20 record while the Knights stayed on top with a 22-6 slate.

Meanwhile, Kai Sotto received a tribute from his teammates after the Koshigaya Alphas escaped the Chiba Jets in overtime, 91-89, over the weekend.

Soichiro Inoue dropped 17 points including the game-winning jumper which he dedicated to Sotto, who is out throughout the whole season after sustaining an ACL injury.

He wore Sotto's jersey No. 11 after his heroics.
