Farmer shot dead in Quezon

SARIAYA, Quezon â€“ A 50-year-old farmer was allegedly gunned down by two men on Friday afternoon, Jan. 10, in Sitio Sinegwelasan, Barangay Janagdong 2, here.

Police identified the victim as Allan.

Investigation disclosed that Allan was in front of his house when the suspects â€“ Ariston, 47, and Jose, 42 â€“ arrived onboard a motorcycle.

Allan saw the suspects and ran but he was chased and shot by the duo. The victim sustained multiple bullet wounds and died on the spot.

The suspects fled and face murder charges. Police said jealousy could be a motive of the killing.
