Bomogao, 24, delivered a variety of blows in all three rounds to earn the judges’ nod and spoiled the younger but taller Longshu for her second win in the professional MMA scene.
The pride of Cordillera region was elated in the outcome of the match, but still looks forward to learning and making more adjustments heading into her future bouts.
“Officially 2-0 in professional muaythai and 1-0 in ONE Lumpinee. I’m grateful for the win but I definitely still have a lot of adjustments to do,” Bomogao said on her Facebook post.
“Will be even better next time. Thank you, everyone. Thank you, ONE Championship!” she added.
The victory did not come easy for Bomogao as the 19-year-old Longshu also carried speed and power..
Before entering the pro scene, the University of Baguio’s physical education graduate was consistently a winner in local and foreign tournaments including a Muay Thai title which made her the first Filipina to ever do it
