Centro Escolar University (CEU) hits another significant milestone with the success of its leaders and faculty members from the School of Science and Technology.

The dean of the School of Science and Technology, Dr. Julieta Z. Dungca, received the distinguished title of Registered Microbiologist, awarded by the Philippine Academy of Microbiology. This recognition highlights her expertise and exemplary leadership in the field of microbiology, inspiring both colleagues and students to excel in scientific pursuits.

Eden Joy P. Alata, assistant to the Dean, School of Science and Technology, made a significant contribution to science education through her research publication, “Development of Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA)-aligned Science Curriculum Framework for K-10 Learners in the Philippines.”Her study serves as a vital resource for improving the science curriculum, aiming to equip learners with globally relevant competencies.

A faculty member, Rissa A. Lasap, received top honors at the 29th Biennial Conference of the Asian Association of Biology Education (AABE) in Matsuyama, Japan. The award-winning presentation of her research, “The Development and Evaluation of Virtual Laboratory Modules in Human Anatomy and Physiology,” showcases her dedication to leveraging technology to enhance biology education, making learning more dynamic and accessible.
