Jetour Auto Philippines has announced a new price for the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM, setting its starting price at ₱1,498,000. This represents a significant price drop from its original launch price of ₱1,648,000 earlier in 2025. The adjustment reflects the company’s response to growing demand among Filipino families for vehicles that balance space, technology, and affordability. This new pricing also puts it in a more competitive position against its competition.
The Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM is a seven-seater Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) designed to combine modern mobility with everyday practicality. With its intelligent dual-motor system, the vehicle is built to handle city driving, long provincial trips, and family getaways while maintaining low running costs. Its PHEV configuration allows for all-electric driving during short commutes and the backup of a gasoline engine for extended journeys. This setup delivers lower fuel consumption and emissions, as well as a total range of up to 1,200 kilometers on a full charge and a full tank.
Inside, the X70 Lightning i-DM features a spacious cabin, a contemporary infotainment system, and family-focused amenities aimed at comfort and convenience. Owners have praised its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, which can power household appliances and gadgets directly from the car. This functionality adds an element of versatility, especially during outdoor activities or emergencies.
Owner testimonies
One owner, Rodel, noted, “It’s very economical. The last time I refueled was five months ago. The important thing is to regularly charge it at home, and that’s what I like most about it. One of my favorite features is the V2L function because I can use it to operate a regular vacuum. It’s amazing because it can power 220V appliances using V2L, even just in the parking area”.
Another owner, Jeff, highlighted the SUV’s comfort and performance. “It feels premium yet cost-efficient, like riding a luxury car at half the price. I love how quiet it is inside; you barely hear anything from outside. The comfort is outstanding smooth, silent, and truly premium. My favorite part is its power. It pulls effortlessly without needing to push it hard it’s just naturally strong”.

The new price of the Jetour X70 Lightning i-DM directly reflects what Filipino consumers have been asking for: A vehicle that combines intelligent dual-motor technology with the space and comfort needed for everyday family life, now more accessible without compromising quality or performance,” said Miguelito Jose, Managing Director of Jetour Auto Philippines.
Jetour has also hinted at future developments within its Lightning i-DM series. Although details have yet to be announced, the company indicated that an upcoming model will create a new niche in the market by combining features, practicality, and affordability. According to Jose, “We are not just adjusting prices; we are reshaping expectations. The upcoming addition to our Lightning i-DM series will continue this approach offering sustainability, practicality, and value in a way that turns heads and meets real needs”.
With this pricing shift, Jetour Auto Philippines is making hybrid technology more accessible to a wider range of Filipino households.
