Fire hits Western Mindanao State U

ZAMBOANGA CITY - A fire of still undetermined origin hit the Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) here on Tuesday morning, Sept. 30.
Local fire and rescue units rushed to the scene of the fire along Normal Road in Barangay Baliwasan after the fire was reported at 5:30 a.m.
The fire reached second alarm before it was finally extinguished at 6:03 a.m.
The blaze affected three rooms of the Psychology Laboratory and the College of Liberal Arts building which houses the College Student Board. 
Total area affected was approximately 295-square meters.
No casualties were reported but arson investigators estimated damage at P3.5 million.
Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
