CEU honors loyalty and service of employees and alumni

In a heartfelt celebration of loyalty and legacy, Centro Escolar University (CEU) marked its annual Loyalty Day to honor the long years of service of its employees and pay tribute to its alumni.
The event recognized faculty and non-teaching personnel who have dedicated 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, and 45 years of service to the university.
Jeneta B. Retardo of the Library Department and Bernardita T. Traje of the Cash Department were the day’s most distinguished honorees, each receiving the longest service awards for their decades of unwavering commitment. Traje later delivered a response of gratitude on behalf of all the service awardees.
A large group of individuals were honored for 35 years of service, including Ma. Florencia N. Antonio and Marjorie V. Portuguez from the Office of the University Registrar (OUR); Arnel Z. Biaco and Odessa M. Tiongson from the Physical Plant and Facilities Department (PPFD); Carlo M. Biscocho, Maria Bernadette S. Maccay, and Maria Carmen S. Dizon from the School of Dentistry and School of Medical Technology; Gloria R. Del Mundo and Amaryllis O. Joson from the Library Department; Dr. Julieta Z. Dungca and Dr. Agnes S. Magnaye from the School of Science and Technology and Biological Sciences Department; Dr. Lorenzo S. Hipolito, Jr. from the School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music, and Social Work; Dr. Rosario Donalyne L. Manigbas from the Health Services Department; Dr. Juana Rosa F. Martinez from the Guidance and Counseling Department; Dr. Rosemarie I. So from the School of Accountancy Management; and Dr. Erna V. Yabut from the Office of the Research, Innovation and Institutional Development.
For 30 years of service, awardees included Editha P. Aguilar and Dr. Jonathan P. Catapang from Physical Education (PE); Dr. Rhoda C. Aguilar from OUR; Dr. Maria Donnabelle U. Dean and Ivy T. Echano from the School of Pharmacy; Dr. Mary Iodine S. Lacanienta and Dr. Marivic G. Tan from the School of Dentistry; Jennifer G. Quieta from Information and Communication Technology; Dr. Jocelyn R. Viray from the Psychology Department; and Hazel M. Ylagan from the School of Medical Technology. Honored for 25 years were Angeline G. Carreon and Johanna C. Lee from the School of Pharmacy; Geroni Leezander P. Castor from the Library Department; Joylyn L. Mejilla from the School of Nursing; and Ramon S. Parole from the Accounting Department.
Recipients of the 20-year service award were Anjanette S. De Leon, Dr. Jobbie S. Lacopia, Luningning O. Marcelino, and Christine I. Reyes from the School of Nursing; Dr. Marjorie C. Quieng-Flores from the School of Dentistry; Ronald V. Mendoza from Science Laboratories; and Maria Corazon M. Tiongco from the Purchasing Department.
Marking 15 years were Madelyn M. Asturias from Health Services; Joe Andrian R. Catalla from Guidance and Counseling; Leonard Dr. Ditche from PPFD; Jemelyn O. Garcia and Mark Joseph M. Manimtim from the Library Department; and Mary Eujene P. Malonzo from the Vice-President’s Office and School of Optometry.
A group of employees reached their 10-year milestone, including Cynthia E. Alix; Frieda Glory Benemile and Benhar L. Sumpingan from OUR; Raymond P. Ebron from Health Services; Ganilyn R. Geñoso and Roel D. Santos from Physical Sciences and Mathematics; Kirk Godfrey D. Itliong from the Library Department; Ma. Shalymar E. Javier from the College of Hospitality Management; Kim Lawrence A. Odoño from ICT; Orlie P. Oliveros and Ronnie A. Pancho from Dentistry; Napoleon M. Ombao and Joel Pajarillo from PPFD; Reycar R. Raposa from PPFD; Richard M. Rillo and Atty. Eduard M. Riparip from the Languages Department; Dr. Josan D. Tamayo from CAMT; and Arthur V. Zubiri from General Administrative and Property.
Finally, the university recognized employees with five years of service: Dr. Kristel Anne P. Alberto, Dr. Almira Dulce G. Icaro, and Dr. Marian Almyra S. Naranjilla from Dentistry; Alnee Joy A. Azul from Accountancy and Management; Honey Loveleen R. Bontile from the School of NHM; Jarah Victoria R. Dayag and Lordy Angelo C. Santos from the Psychology Department; Ma. Christina A. Florentino and Raymond L. Peralta from the Computer Department; Aldrin V. Jardeleza from the School of Nursing; and Kristina C. Miranda, James Phillip M. Monserate, and Ruel M. Nalam from Social Sciences and Humanities.
