Entering a new chapter of his life as a solo artist, singer, and songwriter, Angelo bares it all.

(I'm known for being a cover artist, so I thought I wasn't just that. I'm just doing it because singing is my passion, but I'm a songwriter, and that's what I want people to see)
Angelo recalled how people were often confused as to how to peg him -- a mere belter? a passionate performer?
"I'm a songwriter. I'm more of a songwriter than a band member. Yes, my voice is high. And I thank God for that talent. But the branding is wrong, there's confusion," he said.
Doing cover songs for a long time, it wasn't hard for Angelo to go solo, knowing that he would finally be able to attain the creative freedom that he deserves.
"I've worked so many years doing that. And I'm over those kinds of things. This time, I'm gonna give myself a chance to show the people that I'm also a songwriter," Angelo added.
