- The reunion was revealed to Bulletin Entertainment by former Solid Gold dancer Gio Medina.
Before entering the beauty industry, talent manager Gio Medina began his career as a performer.
During the grand opening of the main branch of Artista Salon in Quezon City on Sunday, Gio looked back on his journey.
"Before I entered the salon (business), I was a dancer on 'Eat Bulaga.' Naging house dancer ako doon for nine years. Tapos napunta ako sa ABS-CBN. Naging Solid Gold (member) ako kay Mel Feliciano," Gio said.
Gio revealed he is now preparing for a reunion concert with many other iconic Pinoy group dancers from the 90s on Nov. 4 at the Big Dome.
"Yung mga iconic dance groups from 70's, 80's and 90's dancers magkakaroon kami ng concert sa Araneta. Kaya nung mga past pictorials, gumagawa din kami ng Tiktoks ang saya kasi para kaming nagre-reminisce na kahit nasa ganitong edad na kami nakakasayaw pa rin kami," he said.
Gio mentioned that Ara Mina, Amanda Page, Gardo Versoza, and Jojo Alejar will be among their special guests.
"Si 'Machete' Gardo Versoza sasayaw siya sa stage ng naka-heels, ang daming pasabog talaga," Gio said.
New image for Artista Salon
Artista Salon started as a simple concept in 2004. Today, it has already built a solid reputation in the beauty industry.
"This is the main branch na ni-rebranding namin kasi before even the logo, and colors are the same lang. Kaya, this year nagbago kami ng theme, mas minimalistic na lang, very high end," Gio said.
Withthe change in image, Gio welcomed on board Margaret Gaw and Lotis Reyes.
