PCGH nurses mastered advanced life-saving skills to boost experience
Nurses from the Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH) completed the American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) courses to strengthen their expertise in emergency care.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the training helped PCGH nurses master advanced life-saving skills such as recognizing and managing cardiac arrest, stroke, and other critical emergencies.
The mayor said the nurses made the city government proud with their dedication to learning and passion for patient care.
She added that the training is not just a certification but also a responsibility to lead, act, and inspire in every life-threatening situation.
Rubiano added that the program aimed to ensure that nurses are well-prepared to respond swiftly and effectively during critical situations.
