Police arrested two male drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Barangay Cembo, Taguig.
The Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested alias Patrick, 40, listed as a street-level individual, in a buy-bust operation on Caimito Street in Barangay Cembo on Sept. 24.
Confiscated from him were sachets of shabu weighing 16.5 grams valued at P112,200 and marked money used in the operation.
The suspect, a resident of the barangay, is under police custody and will be charged for the sale and possession of dangerous drugs in violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
The following day, the SDEU conducted a buy-bust operation along Calamansi Street in Barangay Cembo that led to the arrest of a suspect identified as alias Nico, 24.
Recovered from him were six sachets of shabu weighing 21.2 grams valued at P144,160, two marked P100 bills, and two P1,000 boodle bills.
The suspect is detained at the Taguig police station and will face charges for the sale and possession of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, Southern Police District acting district director, commended the Taguig police operatives.
