Nikki Van brings herself closer to becoming a pilot

Actress Nikki Van completed her first solo flight at Subic Bay International Airport on Sept. 19, under the guidance of Topflite Academy, bringing her closer to her dream of becoming a pilot.

"The sky is no longer the limit," Nikki posted on Instagram, sharing photos from the ceremony. Following her successful flight, she participated in the traditional Water Salute, a customary "baptism" for aspiring pilots.

Nikki's mother shared that her daughter has aspired to be a pilot since childhood. Nikki is actively working on integrating her aviation studies with her entertainment career.

A contract star under PPL Entertainment Inc., led by Perry Lansingan, Nikki, a Cebuana actress, has a notable presence in show business. Last year, she appeared in the popular comedy show "Pepito Manaloto" and "Family Feud."

In 2024, Nikki was also recognized as the third runner-up at the Sinulog Queen 2024, representing Lumad Basakanon of Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City.
