LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said 41,226 families or 159,579 individuals in 173 barangays in 21 municipalities and cities in this province were affected by super typhoon ‘’Nando’’ and the southwest monsoon or habagat.
Flooding was reported in 147 barangays in 12 municipalities and two cities, while one municipality recorded 13 landslides, five of them major.
About seven houses were partially damaged.
Several barangay, municipal, and two national roads were impassable.
The PDRRMC said that the agriculture and livestock sectors sustained P23.1 million and P520,405 in damages, respectively.
Damage to infrastructure was pegged at P69.8 million.
The PDRRMC and local government units have mobilized relief operations for displaced families.
