The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) reported on Friday, Sept. 26, that 14 national road sections remain closed and five others have limited access due to the combined effects of Tropical Cyclones “Mirasol,” “Nando,” “Opong,” and the southwest monsoon (habagat).
The DPWH–Bureau of Maintenance said the closures have disrupted travel and commerce across the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), Ilocos (Region I), Cagayan Valley (Region II), and Eastern Visayas (Region VIII).
It added that 3,194 personnel with 631 units of equipment have been prepositioned, while 384 personnel with 75 units are actively deployed to clear debris and restore mobility in affected areas.

Also closed are San Fernando–Bagulin Road in La Union; Basco Contracosta Road in Batanes; Cagayan–Apayao Road and Cabagan–Sta. Maria Overflow Bridge in Cagayan and Isabela; and Wright–Taft–Borongan Road in Eastern Samar.
Sections with limited access include portions of Apayao–Ilocos Norte Road in Calanasan, Apayao; Junction Santiago–Banayoyo–Lidlida Road/San Emilio–Quirino Road in Ilocos Sur; Urdaneta Junction–Dagupan–Lingayen Road in Dagupan City, Pangasinan; Pililla Junction–Jala-Jala Road in Rizal; and Calamba–Sta.
