PRO-3 officers and their equipment ready for the oncoming storm.
The Police Regional Office-3 has activated disaster response mechanisms and intensified preparedness measures in Central Luzon as tropical cyclone “Opong” is about to make landfall early Friday morning.
The Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) spearheaded the simultaneous inspection of disaster response and Search-and-Rescue (SAR) equipment across all provincial, city, and municipal police offices.
The activity was conducted under the directives of PRO-3 chief Police Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr.
“As typhoons like Opong continue to test the resilience of Central Luzon, PRO-3 will always stand ready. Our synchronized inspections ensure that every unit is fully equipped to protect lives, preserve properties, and support our communities in times of calamity.”
