A fire broke out inside the compound of the Philippine National Police–Explosives and Ordnance Division/Canine Group (EOD/K9) inside Camp Crame, Quezon City on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the blaze was discovered at 12:41 a.m., prompting fire responders from the Camp Crame Base Fire Section and the Bureau of Fire Protection–Quezon City to rush to the scene.
The fire was raised to first alarm at 12:41 a.m. and was extinguished at 1:57 a.m.
No fatalities or injuries were reported.
The BFP has launched an investigation to determine the origin of the fire and assess the extent of the damage it caused to the facility.
