Gone are the days when cat ladies were seen as spinsters—alone and lonely. Today, they are celebrated as independent women whose passion and love for felines reflect freedom, compassion, and even style.
The same can be said of Louis Vuitton’s latest collaboration with the ultimate fashion creative, Grace Coddington. A true cat lady, Grace is furmom to Blondie, Blanket, and Jimi, who have long inspired her creative process. This time, their spirit becomes part of the French luxury house’s designs, as Grace’s illustrations of her beloved cats adorn some of its most iconic pieces.
Dubbed “Travels with Grace Coddington,” the capsule line presents wanderlust-sparking pieces that follow Grace’s cats on adventures through Sydney, London, the Amazon, the Great Wall of China, and even outer space. This playful and artistic touch also continues the story of the 2019 Catogram, a whimsical dialogue between Pumpkin and Blanket and Nicolas Ghesquière’s dogs, Achille and Léon.

Through this collection, Grace envisions her ideal wardrobe for jetsetters—seasoned travelers who value comfort, practicality, and lightness without sacrificing style. Standout pieces include midi dresses and pajamas—Grace’s own wardrobe essentials—decorated with the house’s exclusive cat-and-mouse motif. Reflecting her love for easy footwear, the line also offers sandals and tennis shoes.
Grace’s mastery of the Art of Packing recalls Louis Vuitton’s own beginnings as a box-maker and packer before becoming the world’s foremost trunk-maker. With her expert eye for compartmentalization and precise folding, she understands the art of organizing belongings inside luggage. For the house, she has designed an exclusive line of bags and kits in rich plum-colored foldable nylon. Among them, the legendary Keepall is reimagined to fold completely flat for easy packing, then unfold flawlessly into its iconic form.

Complementary accessories feature the House’s Vintage Canvas, a linen-and-cotton fabric that pays homage to the woven canvas used for Louis Vuitton trunks at the turn of the 20th century.
No collection of hers would be complete without a trunk. Inspired by the historic Stokowski secretary trunk, Grace’s version is designed for an illustrator’s journey: complete with a removable easel, drawers for brushes and pencils, and even a special nook for her beloved cats.
“Louis Vuitton Travels with Grace Coddington” was launched globally on Sept. 19, 2025. In the Philippines, it is on display at The Metropolitan Museum of Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig until Sept. 25.
