Three fishermen were confirmed dead while four others are still missing when their fishing boat capsized in the sea of Barangay San Vicente, Santa Ana, Cagayan at the height of super typhoon "Nando" on Monday.
This was confirmed by the Coast Guard District Northeastern Luzon conducting search and rescue operations.
The Coast Guard said the third victim was found Tuesday afternoon.
Six fishermen have been rescued and two were confirmed dead before the third victim was found.
The watercraft, with 13 fishermen on board, was seeking shelter in the area when successive waves and strong winds caused the boat to tilt and capsize.
The Coast Guard said the six rescued and two fatalities were all residents of Quezon province and Daet, Camarines Norte. The third fatality was from Casambalangan, Santa Ana, Cagayan.
They reportedly came from Aurora province.
Search and rescue efforts for the four missing fishermen continues.
