Man found dead in a remote area in Tanza, Cavite

CAVITE – An unidentified man was found dead in a remote area in Brgy. Tanauan in Tanza, evening on Sunday, Sept. 21.

A report from the Police Regional Office 4A stated that Tanza Municipal Police Station (Tanza MPS) learned of the incident after receiving a call from the barangay chairman.
Authorities described the victim as a male in his late 40s, wearing black pants, white shoes, and a black shirt with “Special Forces” printed on the back.
The victim’s hands were tied with a black cloth, and his mouth was gagged with a white cloth.
The victim’s body will undergo an autopsy to determine the cause of his death.
Tanza MPS told the Manila Bulletin that they sought assistance from the Scene of the Crime Operatives and are now reviewing CCTV footage as they investigate the victim’s identity and the circumstances surrounding his death.
Tanza Mayor Archangelo Matro, meanwhile, advised his constituents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities immediately.
