K-drama 'Bon Appétit, Your Majesty' achieves own highest ratings anew, last two episodes set
The Korean drama “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” recorded its own highest ratings again through episode 10.
Starring Yoona and Lee Chae-min, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” aired its ninth and 10th episodes on Sept. 20 and 21.
Episode 10 ended with a kiss between chef Yeon Ji-yeong (played by actress Yoona) and King Yi Heon (played by actor Lee Chae-min).
Based on Nielsen Korea data, episode 10 of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” which aired on tvN in South Korea, achieved a nationwide rating of 15.75 percent (peaking to 17.3 percent), its highest since the series started on Aug. 23.
In the metropolitan area (Incheon, Seoul, Gyeonggi), “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” got a rating of 15.942 percent (peaking to 17.6 percent), its highest to date.
Episode 10 ranked first in its time slot across all channels, including terrestrial channels. Among tvN's target demographic of 20 to 49 male and female viewers, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” achieved the top spot in its time slot across all channels, including terrestrial channels, recording an average of 6.1 percent (peak of 6.6 percent) nationwide, and 5.7 percent in the metropolitan area (peak of 6.1 percent).
The ratings were based on paid platforms including cable, IPTV, and satellite in South Korea.
Episode 9 of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” on Sept. 20 in South Korea got ratings of 13.463 percent (first place) nationwide and 14.222 percent (first place) in the metropolitan area.
The last two episodes (11 and 12) of “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” will air on Sept. 27 and 28.
