Roads closed
The Department of Public Works and Highways-Region 1 reported that three roads in the Ilocos region are impassable to all types of vehicles due to the southwest monsoon and tropical cyclones “Mirasol” and Nando.

The La Union 1st District Engineering Office said the San Fernando-Bagulin Road is impassable to all types of vehicles due to road cut and collapsed slope protection for backwall and wingwall and scoured foundation of Nagyubuyuban Bridge. Alternate route is the Naguilian-Bagulin Road.
The DPWH-Ilocos Sur 2nd District Engineering Office said the Cervantes-Bontoc Road is not passable to all types of vehicles because of soil erosion. Alternate routes are Cervantes-Mankayan Road and Cervantes-Kayan Road.
The DPWH-Ilocos Sur 2nd District Engineering Office said that the Sta. Lucia-Salcedo Road is closed to all types of vehicles due to flooding. The Candon-Salcedo Road is an alternate route.
