AN assembly against corruption at the San Jose Maria Claret Parish Zamboanga City.
ZAMBOANGA CITY - Two rallies against corruption in flood control projects here on Sunday, Sept. 21, started and ended peacefully.
The first rally was held by students inside State-run Western Mindanao State University. The second was held at the San Jose Maria Claret Parish.
“Everyone is invited as long as you demand accountability from the government and think corruption must stop,” said one of the organizers.
Police Col. Fidel Fortaleza, Zamboanga City police chief, who referred to the gatherings as assemblies, said that both garherings ended without incident.
