More than 2,200 police personnel were deployed as early as 3 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, ahead of the scheduled prayer and indignation rally in Quezon City.
Police were deployed at the Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue (EDSA) Shrine and People Power Monument, House of Representatives and Camp Crame.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Northern Police District (NPD), Eastern Police District (EPD), and the Quezon City Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS) dispatched personnel to secure the areas and ensure the safety of participants.
Police reminded participants to comply with Batas Pambansa Blg. 880, or the Public Assembly Act of 1985, particularly by maintaining peace and order, respecting fellow demonstrators, and cooperating with authorities for a peaceful gathering.
Authorities also directed all personnel to exercise maximum tolerance and uphold human rights throughout the demonstrations.
