Manibela offers free rides to rally participants

Transport group Manibela announced that it will provide free rides for participants of the anti-corruption rallies at Luneta Park in Manila and the EDSA Shrine in Quezon City on Sunday, Sept. 21.

The initiative is intended to help residents from different parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces join the demonstrations, which are expected to draw thousands of people.

According to the group, the following pickup points have been designated:

Quezon City: SM Fairview/Robinsons Novaliches; Shell Villaflor Novaliches; Ayala Malls Balintawak (A. Bonifacio Ave.); Commonwealth Ave., Litex; Commonwealth Ave., Philcoa; Welcome Rotonda; Muñoz Market; LRT-2 Araneta-Cubao Station

Manila: Blumentritt Palengke; Juan Luna St. in Divisoria; Punta Tulay; 7-11 San Andres Bukid

Muntinlupa City: Alabang Starmall; Alabang Barangay Hall

Valenzuela City: Valenzuela City People’s Park; SM City Valenzuela

Marikina City: Ayala Malls Feliz; Marikina Bayan Sports Complex (Palengke)

San Juan City: San Juan-Divisoria Jeepney Terminal

Caloocan City: LRT-1 Monumento Station; Sto. Niño de Bagong Silang Parish Church

Las Piñas City: Along Zapote Road

Pasay City: Pinagbarilan, Malibay

Parañaque City: Jollibee MIA Road; SM Bicutan; SM Sucat

Navotas City: Old C-4 Bus Terminal Complex

Manibela said the free rides are part of its effort to support public participation in the rallies calling for transparency and accountability in government.
