Jameson Blake on Barbie Forteza: 'We're enjoying each other's company'

Kapamilya actor Jameson Blake was all smiles while describing his "Kontrabida Academy'' co-actor Barbie Forteza.
The two are being linked romantically after being spotted together on several occasions.
During the red carpet premiere of ''Isla Babuyan", the actor didn't confirm or deny it, saying simply, "What you see is what you get."
"I think we're in the right age, we're not kids anymore, what you see is what you get, but basically right now we're just enjoying each other's company," Jameson said.
He is happy that fans are supportive of them.  
"Syempre, everybody thinks differently and has their own perspective. Ako naman, it's nice to see people have nice comments like that, na-appreciate ko naman na they look at it positively," he added.

According to Jameson, he and Barbie share the same interests, among them books.
“She likes to read. Doon nag-start. She likes to run, too. I am into fitness, so we started running [with] each other,” he said.
Being in the same industry, is another.
"She's an actress and I'm an actor—our paths in the industry aren't exactly the same. But I'd say we share the same priorities in life, and more than that, we just really understand each other," he added.
Working with Geraldine Jennings
The star of "Isla Babuyan" is Geraldine Jennings, who, according to Jameson is a breeze to work with.
"I really like working with her because she's a good actress. I learned a lot working with her," he said.
Geraldine on her part admitted it was awkward at first but they eventually bonded.

"I think, of course, in the beginning, like working with Jameson and other cast, I was a bit nervous on the first day because I didn't know them as well, but we had dinner before shooting the film. So, I really got to know him, and it was comfortable naman," Geraldine said.
Directed by Abdel Langit, "Isla Babuyan" was the final project conceptualized by the late Leo V. Dominguez. Aside from Jameson and Geraldine, it also stars Paolo Gumabao, Lotlot de Leon, James Blanco, Nathalie Hart.
"Isla Babuyan" hits theaters on Oct. 1.
