Being the daughter of seasoned talent manager Chit Ramos and the niece of the late veteran talent manager and entertainment columnist Ethel Ramos, Farah Ramos is not new to the entertainment scene.

Starting her career as a model, Farah is now celebrating eight years of runway success via her own modeling agency, Farah Models.

During a press conference held at the Uma Nota in BGC, Farah related her journey was not easy.

"It was really the toughest journey because I didn't study business. I graduated with a degree in communication arts. Pumasok lang ako sa industry because yung mga clients they were asking if I know more models, and dun ko na naisip na magtayo ng sarili kong agency," Farah said.

Farah launched her agency in 2017 with just five models, and through the trust she built with clients, she steadily expanded her roster.

"Kaya konti lang nakita ko yung mommy ko and yung tita ko na isa-isa lang na mga sikat na artista (ang hina-handle) and gusto ko ganun din," she said.

(The reason why I started with a few models was that I saw my mom and my auntie handling one or two artists at a time, and I want that also.)

Farah's mother managed Maja Salvador during the early stages of her acting career, while her aunt, the late Ethel Ramos, represented top-tier talents like Aga Muhlach and Angel Locsin.

Continuing her family's legacy, Farah also mentioned the advice her mom and auntie gave to her.

"I remember sabi sa akin ni tita Ethel, kailangan yung models ko ay very disciplined," she said.

(I remember Auntie Ethel told me that my models needed to be very disciplined)

"From my mom naman, kasi sabi ko sa kanya nakukuha na yung mga models ko sa mga films and tv show, so okay lang kaya pasukin yun? And she would tell me na kung gusto mo pasukin yan kailangan matibay ang loob mo kasi it's a very cutthroat industry," Farah continued.

(I asked my mom for advice when my models started getting cast in films and TV shows. I said, 'Is it okay if I explore that side of the industry?' She told me, 'If you're going to get into that, you need to be strong it's a very cutthroat industry)

Starting with only five, Farah is now managing 26 models. Among her top models are former Bb. Pilipinas 2024 candidate Vienne Feucht, who is also venturing into hosting, and actor/model Laziz Rustamov, who became a part of "Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10" in 2022. Since then, he has appeared in shows  like "Iron Heart," "Beauty Empire," and "Batang Quiapo."
