CEBU CITY – Packs of suspected shabu valued at P3.5 million were seized from a drug pusher considered as a high-value target in a buy-bust operation in Calape town, Bohol province on Saturday morning, Sept. 20.
Police identified the suspect as Paul Michael Josol, 40, a resident of Barangay Santa Cruz, Calape.
Recovered from him were 520 grams of shabu and a .45 caliber pistol.
According to Police Lt. Col. Joemar Pomarejos, chief of the Intelligence Unit of the Bohol Provincial Police Office, the suspect was closely monitored for a month before he was cornered.
Investigation said the suspect received his supply of illegal drugs through an inmate.
The suspect was capable of selling 100 grams of shabu per week.
