Police have arrested a 23-year-old criminology student who allegedly killed his parents and sibling in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon last May.
The suspect was apprehended in a manhunt operation in Purok 4, Barangay Uno, Malaybalay last Friday, Sept. 12.
He faces parricide and murder cases and no bail was recommended for his temporary freedom.
The suspect allegedly failed to graduate from his course, prompting him to kill his family on May 21.
He first killed his 50-year-old father using a sledgehammer while sleeping, followed by his 14-year-old sibling and 48-year-old mother.
The suspect was allegedly high on drugs when he committed the crime.
He is under Bureau of Jail Management and Penology custody.
