COAST Guard District Northwestern Luzon is ready for 'Nando.'
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Coast Guard District Northwestern Luzon is ready to ensure the safety and security of people in Northern Luzon as typhoon ‘’Nando’’ approaches.
District commander Capt. Mark Larsen Mariano said all stations and sub-stations in Pangasinan, La Union, Ilocos Sur, and Ilocos Norte are on maximum alert status.
The Deployable Response Group (DRG) of Coast Guard District Northwestern Luzon is on alert for possible dispatch in emergency situations.
All essential first aid and rescue equipment, along with radio communication devices, are fully operational and ready for use.
The Coast Guard reminded the public to remain vigilant, heed official weather bulletins, and cooperate with authorities during possible evacuation and rescue operations.
