This new flower shop is an homage to renowned Cebuano landscaper Jaime Chua

This October 2025, Aspire Corporate Plaza’s Sky Garden Deck will unveil a new floral destination, one that carries not just blossoms, but decades of passion, artistry, and legacy.
The Flower Shop, envisioned by Kelcey Mae Chua-Wong, is a heartfelt tribute to her uncle, Jaime Chua, a renowned Cebu-based landscaper who has spent over 30 years shaping the plant and flower industry. His artistry has graced both international and local stages, including the APEC 2007 and 2015 forums, the luxurious Villa Anugrah in Bali, and the private gardens of respected Cebuano figures such as Ambassador Philippe Lhuillier, Michel and Amparito Lhuillier, to name a few.
Beyond his professional accolades, Jaime Chua is revered for cultivating over 500 species of orchids and receiving numerous global awards—achievements he has always embraced with humility. For Kelcey, this flower shop is not just a way to acknowledge his milestones, but a living testament to his values of hard work, consistency, and passion—principles he instilled in her since childhood.
Kelcey fondly remembers growing up in a home garden designed by her uncle, where childhood memories of chasing butterflies, dragonflies, and discovering bird nests shaped her connection with nature. Today, as a mother to her daughter Jaimee—named after her uncle—she hopes to pass on those same experiences of wonder, encouraging her to embrace the natural world in a time dominated by digital screens.
“This shop is my way of honoring my uncle’s lifelong labor of love,” Kelcey shares. “I want the Philippines, not just Cebu, to experience the artistry and dedication he has poured into this craft.”
Situated in the vibrant Aspire Corporate Plaza in the Macapagal Bay Area of Pasay City, the Flower Shop is more than just a retail space. It serves as a living tribute to a man whose work has quietly shaped landscapes, nurtured nature, and inspired generations.
