Rosé sets records as music video for hit song 'APT.' reaches 2 billion views on YouTube
BLACKPINK’s Rosé set records with her song “APT.” reaching two billion views on YouTube in less than a year.
The song’s music video was uploaded on YouTube on Oct. 18 last year and reached two billion views on Sept. 18, or 335 days since its release.
This became the fastest K-pop music video to reach two billion views, according to her agency.
With this, Rosé is the first and only K-pop artist to have a music video with two billion views both as a group and as a solo artist.
BLACKPINK’s "DDU-DU DDU-DU" and " Kill This Love" have more than two billion views each.
The “APT.” music video reached a milestone when it garnered one billion views on YouTube last January.
Based on YouTube’s official records, “APT.” ranked fifth in the top 10 “all-time fastest music videos to one billion views,” achieving the feat in 105 days.
“APT.” was a pre-released single from Rosé’s first studio album “Rosie” released on Dec. 6 last year.
