Cavite PNP assures public of non-partisan stance on Sept. 21 rallies

CAVITE – The Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) assured the public that it will remain professional and maintain a non-partisan stance during the upcoming Sept. 21 anti-corruption rallies and transport strike.

In a statement released on Friday, Sept. 19, Cavite PPO stated that the Philippine National Police (PNP) has raised its alert level from heightened to full alert status. Plans for deployment are also being set in motion to ensure public safety and uphold the rights of demonstrators.
“The Cavite PNP stands ready with professionalism, discipline, and dedication to ensure that the Sept. 21 activities are conducted peacefully and lawfully,” Cavite PPO Acting Director Col. Ariel R. Red said.
“Our primary mission is to protect the public, safeguard democratic rights, and preserve peace and order.”
Authorities have called on participants in the planned activities to coordinate with the police, obtain the required permits, and prioritize public safety.
The Cavite PPO also reiterated its commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability. The public was further urged to stay alert and report any unusual incidents or security concerns through official hotlines.
