The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has remitted P971,168,225 in dividends to the national government, earning them recognition from the Department of Finance (DOF).
The feat was hailed during the 2025 Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations (GOCC) Day last Sept. 16 at the Malacañang Palace, led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
CAAP Director General Raul Del Rosario personally received the award on behalf of the agency.
He said the recognition highlights CAAP’s compliance with the Marcos’ directive to practice fiscal responsibility, transparency, and efficient revenue management.
“This reflects the hard work and dedication of the men and women of CAAP in ensuring that our aviation sector not only remains safe and reliable but also contributes meaningfully to the progress of the nation,” Del Rosario said.
CAAP oversees the country’s civil aviation sector.
