Bacoor jail visitor nabbed for trying to sneak in shabu
CAVITE – A woman was caught trying to sneak in suspected shabu at the Bacoor Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (Bacoor BJMP) on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A stated that the suspect, identified as alias Christina, went to the facility to visit her live-in partner.
During a standard body search, however, authorities found a heat-sealed sachet containing a white crystalline substance in her possession.
The plastic sachet contained more or less one gram of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P6,800.
Alias Christina is now under police custody and is facing drug charges.
The confiscated evidence, meanwhile, was submitted to the Provincial Forensic Unit for forensic examination.
