Totoo? Names linked to the breakup of Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson surfaced on social media

One day after former sweethearts Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson announced their breakup on social media, rumors about their new relationships began to circulate.
Multiple reports said Julia, 28, is currently dating Lucas Lorenzo, a wealthy equestrian-turned-businessman. Lucas is also the chief executive of RestaurantConcepts Group Inc.
If the surname sounds familiar, Lucas is the brother of Matteo Lorenzo, husband of actress Erich Gonzales. Matteo and Erich got married in 2022.
Lucas and Matteo are also the brothers of Basti Lorenzo, who tied the knot with singer-actress Claudia Barretto, the sister of Julia.
Meanwhile, Gerald, 36, has been linked to volleyball player Vannie Gandler, who plays for the Cignal HD Spikers in the Premier Volleyball League.
In Ogie Diaz's vlog from early September, the popular entertainment vlogger discussed ongoing drama, revealing that Julia may have ended her relationship with Gerald—though the actor is not ready to move on just yet.
“Hindi sa wala na sila, ang sinabi sa akin ay ayaw na ni Julia,” Ogie said. “Kung baga ayaw na ni Julia pero kay Gerald meron pa. (It's not that they're gone; what I was told was that Julia doesn't want it anymore. It's like Julia doesn't want it anymore, but Gerald still has it.)"
On Sept. 18, Julia and Gerald's talent agencies confirmed that they have ended their relationship in separate statements. The former sweethearts were in a relationship for more than five years.
