HFMD cases spike in Quezon City, residents urged to observe proper hygiene
From Jan. 1 to Sept. 15, 2025, the city logged 640 HFMD cases—eight times higher compared to the same period in 2024.
Health officials reminded the public to practice proper hygiene to protect themselves and their families from HFMD.
Preventive measures include regular handwashing -- particularly after using the toilet or bathroom, before and after eating, after coughing, sneezing or blowing the nose, after coming from outdoors or playing
