P1.7-M shabu seized, 3 suspects nabbed in Dasma

CAVITE – Authorities seized P1.7 million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas City on Wednesday, Sept. 17.
The Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) said three high-value individuals (HVIs) were arrested during the sting operation conducted by the Cavite Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and the Dasmariñas Component City Police Station.
Cavite Police Provincial Office (Cavite PPO) identified the suspects as alias Ow, alias Sop, and alias Jen.

Authorities collared the suspects in Brgy. Datu Esmael at 3:00 a.m.
Confiscated from their possession were two pieces of knot-tied transparent plastic bags and two pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance with a total estimated weight of more or less 250 grams.

The HVIs are now under police custody and are facing drug charges.
In a statement, PRO 4A Director Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas said the operation is the result of the honest and intensified implementation of the law, in partnership with the community in the fight against illegal drugs.
