Make way for BINIchella!
BINI, the nation’s girl group, is the epitome of manifestation—turning their dream of performing on an international stage into reality.
The group, which consists of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena, is set to make their debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 10 and 17, next year.
They will join a lineup that includes Sabrina Carpenter, global girl group KATSEYE, Creepy Nuts, Teddy Swims, and Max Dean.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, the girls shared their excitement about it.
"Actually lagi naman po namin sinasabi na tuwing interviews kung ano yung dream namin na stage, Coachella talaga yung goal namin. Hindi lang po namin ineexpect na mangyayari siya sa soon," Jhoanna shared.
(Actually, we always mention Coachella as our dream stage in interviews. It’s really our ultimate goal—we just didn’t expect it to happen this soon.

Meanwhile, Sheena and Colet were initially hesitant to believe the news, thinking the poster was fan-made—until they checked Coachella’s official page.
"Sobrang saya lang po namin yung BINI, yung team namin, yung glam namin lahat po sila sobrang saya for us. And ito po kasi yung parang number one talaga naming mina-manifest. Gusto po talaga naming mag-Coachella, kaya grabe thank you lord," Colet said.
(We’re just so happy—BINI, our team, our glam team, everyone’s thrilled for us. This has been our number one manifestation. We’ve always wanted to perform at Coachella, so thank you so much, Lord.)
A history in the making, Sheena mentioned that they are up for the challenge by allotting a lot of time and effort for the historic gig.
"Kailangan mag-allot ng time for Coachella para mapakita who we are and what we got," Sheena said.
(We need to allot time for Coachella to show who we are and what we got.)
BINI's newest family
A few hours after the Coachella announcement, the girls were in BGC to meet fans in behalf of their Akari Family.
They were met with loud cheers as they performed their hit song, "Salamin, Salamin."
The girls also answered some questions, including the legacy they want to leave to their fans.
"The authenticity, the joy, and the pride we bring. We’re just honest with ourselves. We want to normalize that our group is not perfect. We’re all humans. Also, our pop songs,” Aiah said.
Akari’s digital technology director Gerard Tan, shared his excitement as they partnered up with BINI.
"We started in March this year. We're happy to be working with the best in the Philippines, and we know that BINI embodies what it means to be a true Filipino on both a local and international scale," Gerard said.
