3 hurt as e-jeepney crashes in public transport terminal

TACLOBAN CITY – Three people waiting in line were injured when an electric jeepney crashed in a mall terminal here on Tuesday, Sept. 16.
Police said an electric jeepney driven by Lito, 50, reportedly accelerated forward while parked at the terminal and hit the victims – Riza, 33; Kaye, and Mae.
They were taken to a hospital here.
Lito said he accidentally stepped on the accelerator.
The electric jeepney sustained damage and remained in the area as investigation is ongoing.
