Chery Auto Philippines has introduced the all-new Tiggo Cross Hybrid EV, positioning it as one of the most attainable hybrid subcompact SUVs in the local market. Priced at P1,198,000, the model is now available at Chery dealerships nationwide.
The Tiggo Cross Hybrid EV measures around 4.3 meters in length, and around 1.8 meters in width. It offers a ground clearance of 190 mm and a trunk capacity of 1,110 liters with the second row folded. Exterior highlights include a starry diamond grille, LED daytime running lights, through-type LED tail lamps, and 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin features dual 10.25-inch high-definition displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital manual, voice command controls, and 50W wireless charging. Comfort amenities include a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, and power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support.
Power comes from a 1.5-liter Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. Combined output reaches 204-PS and 310-Nm of torque. The hybrid system is supported by a 1.83-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, managed by Chery’s Guardian Battery System. The vehicle is fitted with an e-CVT transmission and offers Eco and Sport drive modes. Chery claims a driving range of up to 1,200-km on a single fill of the 51-liter capacity tank.
The Tiggo Cross Hybrid EV carries a 5-star ANCAP safety rating. It is equipped with six airbags, a high-rigidity body, electronic stability program, traction control, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, hill descent control, rear parking sensors, and a tire pressure monitoring system. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) include adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a 360-degree camera with transparent view.
Chery is offering an eight-year or 160,000-km warranty for the high-voltage battery and a five-year or 150,000-km bumper-to-bumper warranty. Customers can also take advantage of the brand’s roadshow activities, with upcoming showcases in SM Marikina (September 2–8), SM Dasmariñas (September 10–16), and SM East Ortigas (September 19–25).
