CEU Biology students win 2nd runner-up in Philippine Microbiology Olympiad 2025

Centro Escolar University (CEU) Biology students Faith M. Pacia, Jose Gabriel P. Nery, Robin A. Caparanga, and Miguel Manuel P. Aquino clinched 2nd runner-up in the Philippine Microbiology Olympiad 2025 National Championship hosted by the University of Santo Tomas.

The team was mentored by John Hermie Paul S. Cerezo, RMicro, faculty of the Biological Sciences Department with the support of Dr. Julieta Dungca, dean, School of Science and Technology.

The competition brought together top universities from all over the country, showcasing the brightest young minds in microbiology.
