3 gunrunners nabbed in Lucena City

LUCENA CITY, Quezon – Police caught three suspected gunrunners in a buy-bust operation here Monday afternoon, Sept. 15.
Quezon police director Police Col. Romulo Albacea identified the suspects as brothers John Paulo, 29; Jestoni, 33, and CJ, 18, residents of Sariaya, Quezon.
The suspects were arrested after they sold a gun from a police poseur-buyer.
Recovered from them were a Glock 19 caliber 9mm pistol, a magazine with 10 bullets, and marked money.
The suspects are in the custody of the Lucena City police station and face illegal possession of firearms and ammunition cases.
