Sputnik gang member arrested for illegal possession of firearm in Pasay

A sputnik gang member was arrested for illegal possession of firearm by members of the Pasay City Police Substation 4 who were conducting a mobile patrol on Sunday, Sept. 14.

Pasay City Police Chief Col. Joselito De Sesto identified the suspect as Jaime, 29. He was arrested at around 1:40 a.m. at the corner of Inocencio Street and Tramo, Barangay 110, Pasay City.

De Sesto said the police received a report about a man walking suspiciously in the said area.

Upon the arrival of the police, the suspect tried to pull out his revolver before being subdued by the policemen.

Recovered from him was a .38 caliber revolver with two live ammunition.

Jaime was detained at the Pasay City Police custodial facility and charged with violation of R.A. 10591, the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition Act of 2013.
