LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – A newborn baby was allegedly kidnapped in a hospital here on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Police identified the victim as Prince Harry Pablo Carpio, who was born Wednesday, Sept. 10.
His parents – Romeo, 42, and Rocel, 39, of Binmaley, Pangasinan – have appealed for the return of their child.
Investigation said Romeo left his wife and son in the OB-Gyne ward of the Lingayen District Hospital to pay their bills.
An alleged nurse wearing a green scrub suit entered and informed Rocel that her son would be taken for a blood test.
However, Prince was not returned and his parents learned from a nurse that no blood test was conducted on him.
Police are conducting follow-up investigation and backtracking closed-circuit television cameras to identify the suspect and rescue the victim.
His parents expressed love and appealed on Facebook for his safe return.
