Man stabs wife to death during marital spat

CALAUAN, Laguna – A 34-year-old housewife was stabbed to death by her 30-year-old husband during a marital spat Sunday in Barangay San Isidro here.
Police identified the victim as Angie.
Investigation said a neighbor heard Angie and husband Sotero, a fishpond caretaker, having a heated argument.
The neighbor attempted to diffuse the situation but the suspect grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed his wife.
Sotero fled and is now the subject of a manhunt. The suspect faces appropriate complaints.
