Man stabs drinking buddy to death in San Mateo

A man was killed by his friend during a drinking session in Monterey Hills, Barangay Silangan, San Mateo, Rizal on Sept. 13, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said.
Rizal PPO Director Col. Feloteo Gonzalgo identified the suspect as alias Kiko and the victim as alias Jhoe.
Based on the police report, Jhoe and Kiko were engaged in a drinking session with some of their neighbors when a heated argument ensued between the two which led to a fistfight.
Their friends tried to pacify them but the suspect drew out a knife and stabbed the victim on his chest, killing him instantly.
Kiko quickly escaped from the scene and is now being hunted by the police.
Gonzalgo said homicide charges will be filed against Kiko.
